Massilly is dedicated to providing our customers with a diversified range of high quality packaging products and services through the most modern technology available and a well-trained, highly motivated staff.
Massilly Ghana Limited is the market leader in the PET plastic preforms and bottles industry in Ghana with a market share of 40%. We are the first and only ISO 9001:2000 certified company in the PET preforms & bottles industry in Ghana. The company was established primarily for the blowing of PET bottles in response to then virgin market of plastic bottled water and to serve particularly, Voltic Ghana Ltd. We started with only 1 SSB 25 Blowing machine. Today, we have 3 SSB25 Blowing machines with a total capacity of 40,000,000 bottles per annum. Between 2000 and 2005, we imported preforms, the raw materials for the blown bottles, from South Africa, France, Cote d’Ivoire and the United Arab Emirates. These preforms are produced from resin, a by-petroleum product.
In 2005, Massilly Ghana Ltd. anticipated that in the not too distant future, its major customers would invest in plants to blow their own bottles. In order to be able to continue rendering quality products and services to our customers, we took quick steps and integrated backwards. In the light of the above, Massilly Ghana Ltd. invested in a preform injection machine in July 2005, the first company to do so in Ghana. This would mean that, even if we lost part of the bottle blowing business from our major customers, we would still be able to serve them by providing them with preforms for their blowing activities.

True to our prediction, all the major players in the beverage industry currently blow about 50% of their PET bottles requirements. However, because of our foresight, we supply the bulk of the preforms requirement of Voltic Ghana Ltd. and will soon commence supplying preforms to Coca Cola in addition to supplying them with blown bottles, after their final facility audit in September 2009. In October 2007 we invested USD 380,000.00 in an additional preform injection machine. By this investment, we have doubled our preform production capacity from 100,000 a day to 200,000 a day (60,000,000 preforms per annum) as well as added two new preform sizes to our initial one size (21g and 38g).
Massilly Ghana Limited realises that PET preforms have direct contact with the final products and therefore ensures that all raw materials are food grade and contain the right Acetaldehyde (AA) and Intrinsic Viscosity (IV) levels. Indeed, all PET resins used in the manufacture of PET preforms by Massilly Ghana Ltd. have approvals from Pepsi – Cola International and Coca Cola International. The following are the various brands of PET resins we use:
Mitsui Resins
Texpet Resins
HOSAF
Aspet Resins
Thaipet
TK Chemicals (formerly Tongkook Corp.)
HOSAF Fibres
South Asian Petrochem Ltd

India
We import our masterbatch from Clariant SA of Italy, another PEPSI –CO and Coca Cola approved supplier.
We have over the years improved systematically on our Quality Management System (QMS) by investing in our staff, equipment and processes, culminating in our being ISO 9001:2000 certified In September 2007.

Our products are not only safe, but meet all the requisite quality standards. Our QMS is able to trace each preform or bottle to the bag of resin from which it was produced. This ensures that customer complaints (minimal as they are) are traced to the root and dealt with once and for all.
As a result of our excellent track record in producing excellent quality products that meet international standards, Massilly Ghana Ltd. has been able to both attract and keep the major players in both the bottled water and alcoholic beverage industries. Our major customers include, but not limited to:
Voltic Ghana Ltd.
The Coca Cola Bottling Company Ltd.
